A. That is the problem with our government today too many lie, and that is in both party's. We need to do some weeding of the garden in November and vote the ones unworthy of our trust out! Harry Reid , and Nancy Pelosi are at the top of the list! MR

Is Harry Reid a puppet of the party?
Q. Reid stated that he would begin expulsion proceedings against Ted Stevens without waiting for the outcome of his appeal. Stevens was elected by the people of Alaska to represent them in the senate... this was AFTER his conviction. That is, everyone knew about it, and elected him anyway. Now, Reid certainly has the LEGAL right... but it is morally or ethically right to simply ignore the will of the PEOPLE of Alaska for nothing more than political gain? Does Reid work for the Democratic Party? Or the people of Nevada?

Is it safe to say Harry Reid's blunders have not only lost the Nevada senate seat for himself but for any Dem?
Q. While some within the party have said that if Reid wasn't on the ballot the seat would be a win for Democrats, some of the data in the Kos poll suggests otherwise. First off, there is only one "Democratic" candidate tested who leads both businessman Danny Tarkanian and former state party chairwoman Sue Lowden -- the co-favorites for the Republican nod. That candidate is Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman who leads Tarkanian 44 percent to 41 percent and Lowden 44 percent to 40 percent. The only problem? Goodman isn't a Democrat, having switched his party affiliation to independent last December. And, according to Jon Ralston, the best political reporter in Nevada, state law prohibits anyone who has switched party affiliation to be a candidate… [cont.]
